New w00stocks a’ Comin!

Here we go again!

We’re pleased to announce that we’re bringing our travelling circus back to the nest, with w00tstocks 2.5 and 2.5.1 coming to the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, CA, on Thursday & Friday , September 16 & 17, 2010. Guest acts and other mayhem TBA, but it’s guaranteed to be just as epic as w00tstocks past. TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE.

For those of you not in the Bay Area or unable to get there, don’t start pissin’ and moanin’ just yet—we’ve nailed down a number of possible dates in October-November, and are now actively working to book venues in various cities across the U.S.—particularly that whole Eastern part we’ve been neglecting—and possibly Canada. (Sorry, UK; we love you, and you’re definitely in our hearts and long-term plans; but it’s probably just not feasible this year.) Unfortunately, no dates are confirmed enough to announce yet; but we promise you all will be the first to know as soon as we do!

Hey folks. What are the chances of having a w00tstock somewhere in the South? There are a lot of geeks here too. Nashville and Atlanta would both offer great venues. Thanks!

How about the Rocky Mountain Front Range area? Like, Colorado? Or like, more specifically, Colorado Springs?

Lot’s o geeks here, lots of military/gov’t geeks, too! You could get cavity searched for trying to crash the gate at Cheyenne Mountain AFS (aka NORAD) and Twitpic the whole thing.

I live in San Diego so I was so fortunate as to unlock my achievement at Comic Con. May I suggest making that a regular gig, during SDCC? HOW AWESOME WOULD THAT BE?
Also I think Austin TX would fellate you all to come there and do your thing. If that appeals to you guys, I mean.

Hooray! It would make my life if you guys came to Philadelphia, but hell, I’d go to New York, Baltimore or DC to see w00tstock too.
